Multidisciplinary teams of engineering and science (human biology, neuroscience, molecular genetics, etc.) students will work to address an engineering design problem that your organization is facing. The team will participate in the capstone design course with guidance from a faculty member and teaching team with expertise in biomedical engineering and medical device design. By the end of the course the team will present test results to you to demonstrate a feasible solution to your problem.
Learners
Students will work to complete the following:
- Detailed assessments of your requirements and engineering specifications related to your problem
- A project proposal outlining potential design concepts
- A working prototype and test results
