Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Data Collection Coordinator to support a project focused on gathering and organizing data on the public 2025 Pride Month support of 500 Canadian for-profit and 250 non-profit companies and their previously published allyship from the past 5 years. This role involves comprehensive research, meticulous record-keeping, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information collected from a variety of sources, including company websites, social media, news outlets, and official statements.


Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and compile a target list of 750 Canadian organizations (in collaboration with the research team).
  • Research each company’s public stance and activities related to Pride Month, including:
  • Social media campaigns
  • Public statements or press releases
  • Participation in Pride events
  • Donations or partnerships with LGBTQIA+ organization
  • Document findings in a structured database with consistent tagging and categorization.
  • Track changes or updates throughout the month of June and flag notable shifts in support or engagement from 2020-2025.
  • Coordinate with research team to ensure alignment with broader project goals.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure sources are credible and verifiable.
