We are a women-led startup launching a web-app platform to connect families We are looking for someone to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website a. Closely working with our IT service provider, the Junior Web developer responsibilities include upgrading the coding with new features integrations for blogging and communication purposes … fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function for the web-app to go live in the coming months ( beta testing, process & flow review, communications, design...)
Who we are
My Little tribe is a start-up providing online services by connecting parents to private childcare services providers through our platform. Our mission is to create a ‘’ hands-on’’ community in order to facilitate parenthood.
Working closely with our IT service provider
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Design Resources & Blog page layout/user interface by working clos Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Test profiles and app functionalities and assist with coding and errors corrections
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Set up SEO and analytics to monitor online presence
The students will work directly with our IT service providers( Red Hill co - based in Toronto) and assist meetings with the developers, review "how to " videos that developers will send and execute the work based on comfort level and knowledge. They will assist with the rest of the "technical" steps to launch the web-app.

Parenthood certainly comes with its challenges but at my Little tribe, we believe, this journey can be the most rewarding one. We aim to take off some of the stress that comes with accessing affordable childcare services at first and expand to other services in a near future.
My Little Tribe is a community-driven platform designed to make finding and providing childcare easier, safer, and more personal. Founded by a Winnipeg mom and entrepreneur, it connects parents with culturally sensitive, trusted childcare professionals, including nannies, babysitters, and home daycares. Through a live booking system, parents can quickly match with verified caregivers based on their needs and values. Beyond a simple service, My Little Tribe fosters genuine relationships by hosting online and in-person meetups, creating a true “village” of support. Our mission is to empower parents and caregivers alike, ensuring every family feels seen, supported, and able to thrive.
