Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented student to design visually engaging content for social media, websites, presentations, campaigns, etc. You’ll collaborate with our team to translate concepts into polished visuals that align with our brand and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create original graphics, illustrations, and layouts for [social media posts, infographics, posters, websites, etc.].
  • Develop branding assets (logos, icons, templates).
  • Adapt designs for multiple platforms (digital, print, presentations).
  • Stay updated on design trends and tools.
  • Revise work based on feedback.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a relevant program (Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Media, etc.).
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Procreate).
  • Portfolio showcasing creative projects (personal, academic, or professional).
  • Strong eye for typography, colour theory, and composition.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with mentor guidance.
  • Basic understanding of file formats and resolution requirements.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • UI/UX or web design basics.
  • Photography/video editing skills.


Deliverables

Expected Tasks

Design branding assets:

  • Logo variations (primary, secondary, monochrome).
  • Social media banners/profile templates.

Create digital/print graphics:

  • Social media posts (20 posts to be determined between the employer and the student).
  • Infographics for reports, presentations, or blog articles.
  • 3 Short animations/motion graphics (e.g., GIFs for social media).

Deliverables

  • Final files are editable (e.g., AI, PSD) and export formats (e.g., PNG, PDF).
  • Organized asset library (e.g., branded templates, icons, images).
  • Style guide documenting colour codes, fonts, and design rules.
  • Monthly content calendar with pre-designed graphics.

  1. Ready-to-use templates for future team projects.
  2. Portfolio-ready work showcasing real-world design experience.
