Impactful Website Design

The main objective of this project is to create a professional, user-friendly, and impactful website for the Green Career Centre that enhances accessibility, showcases organizational achievements, and effectively engages its audience. Tasks and activities include updating visuals to align with organizational values, improving navigation and functionality (e.g., linking resources and newsletters), and integrating testimonials, stats, and new media content. Deliverables will include a fully optimized and visually cohesive website that meets funder expectations, reflects current initiatives, and strengthens connections with stakeholders and partners. This will involve several different steps for the students: Update the homepage by fixing logo functionality, improving contrast, and replacing outdated photos. Redesign navigation with clearer headings, better filters for resources, and mobile-friendly UX/UI. Replace outdated content, including impact reports and old testimonials, with updated and relevant information. Add high-resolution visuals, consistent iconography, and updated funder and partner logos with proper linking. Optimize technical aspects such as SEO, page speed, and Google Analytics integration. A comprehensive breakdown of what will be required for the website will be provided. We hope that by the end of the project the website with have: A visually cohesive and user-friendly website with a polished homepage and optimized resource and event pages. Improved navigation and functionality, ensuring seamless user experience across devices. Comprehensive and updated content, including new testimonials, impact stats, and current funder and partner details. Enhanced engagement tools, such as a functional newsletter system and event links or recaps. Fully optimized technical performance, including faster loading times and integrated analytics for tracking.
