Educational Studies Capstone students implement a sustainable service project addressing social justice issues in education. Students provide direct service to their community partner to deeply understand the population served and challenges the partner may face. Students engage in student-directed projects corresponding to research and planning completed during the previous semester. Students create realistic solutions to national and local community issues that impact student achievement.

Students complete at least 100 hours per a semester.

Each deliverable will be determined by the needs of the participating organization. For the course students will create:

• A budget and fundraising plan
• Logistics Plan
• Implementation Summary
• Impact Plan
• Evaluation Plan
• Impact Report
• Evaluation Summary
• Sustainability Plan

A final review presentation will be given by the student.
