Details

The objective of this project is to:

Design, build and validate a functional prototype of an AI-powered chatbot tailored to solve easy record entry into our MicroSoft Dynamics custom application providing farmers a tool that is fast and easy to use.


Farmers collect data regularly from birth through to sale or death to identify efficient animals and monitor seasonal changes to adjust their management practices. They don't enjoy transferring and/or manipulating the records to upload to a solution that brings them insight they can act on through management. Using AI, we would like to explore and build a prototype that can be used in agriculture operations to enter the records needed to gain insight and trending analytics.


We will provide the custom application in MicroSoft Dynamics. We are looking for a team to identify chat bots that can be used to help input records, train it and build an MVP as an on-farm pilot.


Desired outcomes by the end of the project:


  • Define natural language processing
  • Explain how AI uses natural language processing to derive meaning from text
  • Explain the classification problem and its solutions
  • Describe how a chatbot understands, reasons, learns, and interacts with users
  • Distinguish between intents, entities, and dialogs
  • Identify appropriate uses for chatbots
  • Identify real-world uses for natural language processing (NLP)
  • Describe how AI classifies images to derive meaning from them
  • Describe how a convolutional neural network(CNN) analyzes an image
  • Describe how a generative adversarial network (GAN) creates a credible image
  • Identify real-world uses for computer vision

Deliverables

By the end of the project, examples of outcomes are:

  • Use case definition and success criteria
  • Design and scope
  • Build MBP chatbot
  • Test with target users
