Mobile App Development for FRED
The project aims to create a mobile application for FRED, an ecommerce platform wholly-owned by myAIpathway Inc., enabling users to access their services via smartphones. Currently, FRED operates through a web platform, and the goal is to extend this functionality to mobile devices. The project involves assessing the existing web platform to understand its features and user interactions. Based on this assessment, the team will design a responsive mobile app that mirrors the web platform's functionality while optimizing for mobile user experience. The app should be available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring cross-platform compatibility. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of mobile app development, user interface design, and cross-platform programming.

AI Backend/Infrastructure Developer
The project involves developing a backend infrastructure to support the integration of a Large Language Model (LLM) proof of concept with a website frontend. The primary goal is to create a seamless AI data pipeline that facilitates the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) process within an LLM tool. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of Python programming, API development, and LLMs like GPT. The project will focus on designing a robust backend system that can efficiently handle data flow and support the deployment of LLMs. Learners will gain hands-on experience in integrating AI technologies with web applications, enhancing their understanding of AI infrastructure and deployment strategies. Requirements: - Proficient in Python - Knowledgeable about calling and developing APIs (Flask, Django, etc.) - Experienced using LLMs like GPT, Claude, Llama, and others Nice to have: - Experienced with LLM infrastructure like RAG and ReAct agents - Experienced with deploying LLM tools - Experienced with handling user authentication and web integration - Experienced with web-scraping using BeautifulSoup and/or Selenium

Software Engineer Intern
IBM
Markham, Ontario, Canada
May 2024 - August 2025
Developed and tested software for IBM Supply Chain Intelligence Suiteβs Provisioning, User Management, and
Access Control team using a Microservices Architecture with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and Cassandra
β’ Engineered microservices designed to simplify user access control and group management within the software. The
microservices streamlined the process of assigning users to groups, managing permissions and ensuring secure access
to features and data
β’ Designed, developed, and deployed a Kafka monitoring microservice using Kubernetes on IBM Cloud and Docker,
enabling real-time consumption and tracking of over 5 million events daily across 10+ microservices. Reduced
manual monitoring efforts by 40% and integrated the service with Instana dashboards through REST APIs,
providing actionable insights into microservice health and performance.
β’ Implemented REST APIs and enhanced existing ones with advanced features such as cursor/offset-based
pagination, retry mechanisms, caching strategies, and JWT authentication. These improvements drastically
increased performance, resulting in scalability, strengthened security, and a 60% reduction in response times.
β’ Automated integration and unit tests using JUnit, Mockito and Karate ensuring reliable software and API
functionality and streamlined the testing processes with automated pipelines in Jenkins
