Rashael began her placement with a positive attitude and showed early promise in navigating a challenging situation outside her control. When a leadership team member became unexpectedly unavailable, she made an effort to adapt and remained cooperative during that initial transition, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, as the placement progressed, her engagement declined significantly. She missed a scheduled meeting without any communication before or after, despite reminders, and did not respond to multiple follow-up messages in the second half of the placement. In addition, several tasks were left incomplete, and the work submitted was provided in a non-editable format, which limited its usefulness within our workflow. While I recognize that students are still developing professional habits, the lack of follow-through and communication made it difficult to support her growth or evaluate her potential accurately. I hope that with more experience, Rashael will come to understand the importance of accountability, proactive communication, and meeting expectations in a professional environment.
