Our mission is to prevent death by suicide and empower our youth to thrive. We are seeking to enhance our online presence by revitalizing our social media and digital marketing content to more effectively communicate our mission, engage our community, and attract support. This project will require students to: Familiarize themselves with our organization's vision, mission, and the unique nature of our programs and services. Research factors affecting the quality and impact of digital content in the non-profit sector, particularly in mental health and Indigenous community support. Propose and design innovative social media posts, emails, and other digital content that align with our goals and resonate with our audience. Explore and recommend new digital content strategies not currently utilized by our organization.

Website Development
Finding Our Power Together, an Indigenous-led non-profit organization, seeks to enhance our online presence and digital accessibility through a comprehensive website development project. Our objective is to create a dynamic, user-friendly, and informative website that reflects our mission to support Indigenous youth and communities and our commitment to preventing suicide and promoting well-being. This project will involve: Conducting a thorough analysis of our current website and identifying areas for improvement. Making adjustment to current website for improved access Integrating features that enhance user engagement, such as interactive elements, multimedia content, and social media integration. Ensuring the website is accessible, mobile-friendly, and optimized for search engines. Bonus steps in the project could include: Developing a strategy for ongoing website maintenance and content updates.

This project will involve: Comprehensive research to identify grant opportunities that align with our organization's objectives and programs. Analyzing grant requirements and guidelines to understand funder priorities and criteria. Developing and writing grant proposals, including narratives and budgets, that effectively communicate the impact and necessity of our work. Crafting tailored follow-up and reporting strategies for granted funds. Bonus steps in the project could include: Evaluating and refining grant-writing strategies based on feedback from funders or mentors.
