Podcast Project Assistant

We’re looking for a student to help us record, edit, and post more podcast episodes. The goal of our podcast is to grow the OneTeamMVMT community by hosting meaningful and engaging conversations with experts and thought-leaders in areas that will interest our listeners. We want to put out content that not only entertains, but educates our audience on topics such as: body positivity, racial and gender inclusivity, cultural appreciation vs appropriation, and other training and sport tips.

Website Re-Design

OneTeamMVMT is looking to have a skilled individual, or team, redesign our website and develop a cost-effect SEO marketing strategy to maximize brand exposure. We are looking for a part-time support person that can undertake website updates (via Shopify), SEO and keywords, photoshop photographs, update brochures and generally supply a technical skillset for updating digital and print assets. You will Evaluate our existing website, propose redesign option(s), and work with us to enhance our website to make it more contemporary, navigable, informative, professional and SEO friendly.

Awareness/Promotional Video Creation

Our organization is passionate about encouraging girls and youth in sport, particularly, to learn about and participate in synchronized skating; a sport that blends artistry and athleticism, in a team environment. We would like to collaborate with students to create an awareness video, to assist in the Olympic Goal for Synchronized skating, by popularizing the sport and bringing more attention to its existence. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with the social cause, our mission and goals. Recording and utilizing existing footage to create impactful videos for social media Finding and applying suitable background music. Adding text, transitions, and overlays to the video. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Presenting the video and making edits based on feedback. Recommending ideas and editing tools for future awareness videos.

Seminar Event Planning & Delivery Project

Our not-for-profit organization has been successfully running camps to develop the sport of synchronized skating since 2018, with the ultimate goal of getting the sport into the Winter Olympic Games. After running 15 successful development camps across Canada and internationally, we are looking for assistance in organizing events for the spring and summer of 2025.
