UX Design + Front End Build for Fantasy Sports Data Analytics WebApp
Rolling Insights is looking for an enthusiastic User Experience Designer and/or Front End Developer to help improve user retention and engagement on an existing product. This will be accomplished with an audit to our existing flow, creating design files for our Web App, and/or building out the front end UI. The web app contains functionality such as: browsing a catalogue of pre-built sports data models creating new sports data models choosing data modifying data inputs submitting dataspace to the community creating custom filters/views creating calculated columns Roles and Responsibilities Work with Product and Development team to design and build an improved front end UI Work within the constraints of the existing webapp framekworks for the Build high fidelity stills of the app interface in adobe/figma Build design elements in format useful for development Build front end UI working with Development team Work independently and in partnership with Product Manager Providing best practice recommendations for usability and user engagement

Digital Marketing Strategy for Sports Data Start Up
Rolling Insights was founded in 2018 as a startup incubated within Rolling Wave Consulting. Rolling Insights is a remote-only startup focused on building no-code sports analytics solutions for avid fantasy managers and sports data lovers. Rolling Insights recently acquired new B2B technology called Data Feeds that provides sports data to developers and businesses via API delivery. Rolling Insights is looking for a comprehensive and actionable digital marketing strategy to support the launch and growth of this new product offering. We want students to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us. We want an actionable digital marketing plan that we can follow, or hand off to someone to execute. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How should we segment our target market? How should we promote our company? How should we promote our new product? What digital channels should we utilize? (ie: social media, email marketing, participation in online forums) What budget is appropriate for advertising? What messaging should we use? How can we optimize the website for SEO? The desired outcome of this project is an actionable digital marketing plan that can be handed off to Rolling Insights team members to execute.

Sports Data Site needs a go to Market Strategy for new Customer Segment
Rolling Insights is sports data start up that has a consumer facing sports data product called SportWise. To date, SportWise has been focused on individual Fantasy Sports players looking to turn to data to get an edge in their game, but recent successes on Reddit lead the Product Team to believe there is a potential market to serve Content Creators. The goal of this project is to develop a research backed a go-to market strategy for a new customer segment: Content Creators. Rolling Insights defines "Content Creators" in the sports industry as individuals who are looking to create a name or reputation for themselves off sports analysis or opinion, which oftentimes is based on data. These could include but are not limited to professional and aspiring Sports Journalists, Sports Analysts, Podcast Hosts, Video Content Creators, Social Media Influencer, and/or Bloggers who require sports data to inform their opinions.

UI Design for Fantasy Sports Data Analytics App
Rolling Insights is looking for an enthusiastic User Interface Designer or Graphics Designer to create design files for our website and Web App. We are in the process of redesigning our website to support two product streams, as well as designing the web application interface and interactions. The website requires graphic assets that support phases in predefined buyers journeys including: Registering for a product / joining a waitlist Requesting additional information Exploring pricing The web app contains functionality such as: choosing data browsing/searching modifying data inputs submitting dataspace to the community sorting and tagging for easier search/browse Roles and Responsibilities Work with Product, Marketing and Development team Work within the website constraints of Umbraco CMS Build high fidelity stills of the app and website interface Build design elements in format useful for development Work independently and in partnership with Product Manager Providing best practice recommendations for usability and conversion (not required, but is an asset) Please note: The designer will not be required to build the website or web app interface
