Project: Human City Widgets Design

The main goal for the project is to design a series of widgets for a web app and mobile app that align with the goals of the People Planning Project. The widgets should be for a budgeting tool, polling tool, and budgeting tool to promote financial literacy and social learning within the IoT infrastructure and free access to the Internet. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Understanding the goals and mission of the People Planning Project - Designing and developing widgets for the web app and mobile app - Testing the widgets for functionality and user experience - Incorporating social learning and environmental stewardship elements into the widgets

Alberta and Montana Transportation Data Framework Projects

The main goal for the project is to develop a framework to capture data from public sources such as cities, counties, provinces, and federal government transportation departments in Canada. The data will then be organized, analyzed, and provided as regular updates to transportation designers and engineers within the public and private sector. This will involve several different steps for the team, including: - Collaborating with transportation departments to understand data sources and formats. - Designing and implementing a data capture framework that can collect and organize data from multiple sources. - Developing an analysis platform to process and analyze the captured data. - Creating a user interface for transportation designers and engineers to access and utilize the analyzed data. - Establishing a regular update schedule for the data to ensure it remains current and relevant.

API Software Development - transition from stone age to modern application

The project aims to leverage various APIs to streamline data management processes within our company. Students will work on integrating different APIs to automate data transfer, synchronization, and analysis, thereby optimizing workflow efficiency. The project will focus on selecting, integrating, and testing APIs that align with our specific business needs, such as CRM, ERP, marketing automation, or data analytics platforms. NOTE: we use various crm and EXCEL spreadsheets to track work processes and client deliverables - we need help with EFFICIENT ways to track progress on client files BENEFIT TO STUDENTS: there are 1000's of small company that would benefit from this type of support. Students could use learnings to make their own small business. Once project is complete we are happy to pay Student part time to help us with future projects
