Market Research Analyst
Moten Inc.
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
May 2023 - December 2023
I was responsible for conducting in-depth market research to identify small businesses that could benefit from Moten’s online booking app. My role involved analyzing existing appointment booking tools, assessing competitive advantages, and identifying the factors influencing businesses' decisions to switch service providers.
I developed and maintained a detailed list of potential customers based on research parameters and collaborated closely with project mentor Prabh Singh and other team members to refine research strategies. My final deliverable included a comprehensive list of small businesses in Canada that currently lack digital booking tools, as well as an analysis of businesses that could be persuaded to switch to Moten’s platform. Through this experience, I contributed to Moten’s mission of enhancing online booking solutions for small businesses while supporting sustainable and diverse practices.
