Workplace coaches are increasingly used to foster employee development. Coaching is distinct from training, in that it’s customized and focuses on the individual’s personal abilities to effect change and growth. This is a complement to workplace training, particularly for ongoing leadership development. In this project, students will develop a competency-based coaching plan for one of your team leaders/supervisory staff to help them resolve a workplace conflict situation. The student links your organization's goals with a specific outcome-based conflict resolution plan.
